Definitions.
Hey there. I read the definition thread already but didn't see anything about these weapon descriptions with all those e's and q's. I have no idea, so if someone could post a list of all of the abbreviations that go along with weapons, that'd be great. .

You are probably talking about "Obsidian edge, q9, 100+2e" type statements. In these cases, q is short for requirement and e is short for ectoplasm, a rare crafting material that has become a secondary currency in GW.

@Iuris, Thanks for that. Could someone also explain what the ##^## things are? |

What, Requirements, Obsidian edges or globs of ectoplasm? Not kidding, I really don't know.
Requirement: in order to use a weapon to the maximum potential, your attributes need to meet the weapon's requirement. For example, a sword may only do it's stated damage if your swordsmanship attribute is 9 or similar. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Requirement Obsidian edge: A very rare sword "skin", see here for location and a screenshot. Since it's so rare, it's expensive and one can reasonably expect to be able to sell one. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Obsidian_Edge Glob of ectoplasm: it's a rare craftnig material. Only drops in the Underworld, an endgame "elite" area, IE, exceptionally difficult area. It's used for obsidian armor, the most expensive armor (and prestigious) in the game. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Glob_of_ectoplasm http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Obsidian_armor |

I think he was asking about, like, 15^50. It is a very popular weapon mod that gives you +15% damage while your health is above 50%. It is either the "inherent" mod on a weapon (meaning you can't change it), or an inscription.

Ah, heh, yeah, if I HAD thought of it, I might have got it, instead of interpreting it as "the above item". Silly me - with the benefit of hindsight
